The bulk of Gahaan infantry consist of heavily armoured, sporting their unique skull shaped mask and spouting a thick plume. While the plume is questionably practical, soldiers still wear them as a superstitious practice.

Officers are usually less armed as compared to their combat contemporaries, since they spend most of their time behind safe lines. A ushanka styled hat with the plume is their headgear of choice and each officer would carry around "swagger sticks", either for use for convenience or for the discipline of misbehaving soldiers.

Frogmen are substantially less armored to their land based contemporaries due to a lighter weight needed to perform amphibious operations. Unlike most other armours that prominently flaunt the majestic plume, the frogman armour's plume is much less pronounced and attached to the side of the head instead. This is due to obvious practicality for re-submerging and submerging without detection.

Combat technicians have relatively light armour for convenience in servicing vehicles and machinery. While standard issue for technicians does not come with a drone, the Technicians still manage to construct and/or purchase them for their own personal conveniences. Due to drones being an integral part of Technician culture in the Ga'haan army, officers rarely apprehend or question their possession.
